There are all sorts of campsite guides out there - something to suit everyone.
Most important things to ask first are:
When are you going?
What sort of site do you want?
With children or just a couple?
This could certainly affect what guide books (or sites) people recommend. It's so easy to search on line too - this website has a campsite search with a map. Have a look at that and some of the site reviews in the area you fancy. These are real reviews by UKCS members and will give you more idea of the sort of site you might be searching for.
