I'm back home after a fortnight in France but TBH when I was over there the last thing I'd want to do is log on to a computer and so would not see your message! Maybe why no replies from France...

Family texted me earlier today and said the weather was "finally starting to pick up" which makes me think it's not been so good (near Paris).

My parents are in Loctudy Nr Benodet- too hot they are saying!! Have  had a look at web cam of there and it does look bliss!!   Only 4 days til i see the doc for my all clear then i'm booking a ferry!!!.... sorry to allthose deprived of french fix i know how i'd feel

Just back from a lovely time and I am sad as I want to go back!
Had a brilliant time, got to see the Bastille celebrations and do loads of things.
I just didn't have long enough to do everything I wanted to do.

Hi there ----  we are in Charolles ---Bourgogne du sud --- with our Bailey  Champers and Rav4   ---  weather fantabulistic  we' ve been here for 3 weeks --still got another 2 to go-- oh dear what a retirement!!!!.   Come over it is fantastic.  Charolles is a lovely typical French village.   We are on the Municipal camping and don't listen to all the whingers ---Municipal sites are great.   We get free entry to the pool --heated--and all for 13.70euros with leccy per night for myself and the OH.  Back home  Aug.  Then looking to go to Gt.  Yarmouth and Scotland keep some of the good weather for us   Thanks  see you soon.   Jethroc

Going for 10 days to the Loire, then on to 8 days in the Dordogne, followed by 3 days near Paris - for Disney, then last but not least 2 days in London - to watch Sunderland play Arsenal. Home for one day then my son has his 13th birthday party. Two days later I'm off to Ladies Day at the races. I'll need a holiday after all this!!
