We are looking to do a bit of a tour through the Vendee next month & I've identified these two campsites among others that we might visit. The reviews seem decent however my wife isn't a big fan of unisex facilities. Has anyone stayed at either site that could put her mind at rest & can let me know what the toilet & shower blocks are like? I'm going on holiday & don't fancy her moaning at me the whole time!

Also Clos des Pins says no charcoal bbq's? Is this literally the case? This is more of an issue to me then the sanitary blocks!!!!!

L'Oceano d'Or isn't the sort of site we'd go to, but do an internet search for reviews on various websites ,and you'll see they say, Yes, the toilet blocks are unisex. I didn't look up Clos des Pins, but every site I know of in a pine forest says No to charcoal barbecues.

Thanks for the response. Ideally I wanted to hear people's thoughts about the facilities on both campsites and in particular how acceptable the toilets blocks are if they are shared. Tis all.....
