Hi de hi
Has anyone any feedback on breakdown cover from The Green Insurance Company? Annual cover £58.85, here and Europe (France for us) not 'personal' cover - seems too good to be true.
Any thoughts or experience of their service from anyone?
Thanks very much.
Bren

Thanks David
I'm obviously being a bit of a dolt, but I have tried searching Green Insurance Company on 'All Forums' with no search results. I did try this before setting off a new thread - but obviously not doing it right!
What would you suggest searching in?
Thanks for the advice.
Cheers
Bren

I think David meant there have been many recent threads on continental breakdown cover in general; I can't actually remember any about that particular company, but after a quick Google I've found several negative comments on another site.

ADAC has been recommended on here frequently, though.

Thanks Bob
I had a look at some other web site reviews of Green Insurance and read several very poor service comments. Decided to amend my car insurance policy with Privilege by adding European breakdown cover (with Green Flag) and extending our UK comprehensive cover to Europe. This seems the most cost efficient option, and Green Flag are obviously well established. Thanks for the ADAC tip, we may look at this in more depth when our policy is up for renewal towards the end of the year.

Hi I've taken out an annual UK/Europe Breakdown cover via quotelinedirect underwriten by Axa for £54.00 for 1 year for my 10 year old car (not personal).  Unfortunately I had to use it just over 1 week ago when nearly home after travelling to Cornwall - the driveshaft fell off!  It was simple and straightforward to get through to them and we waited about 1.5 hours (they did say within an hour but we weren't to bothered waiting a little longer).  They towed us to our mechanic where we picked up other halfs van (which had been in for repair while we were away).  All very straight forward, no problems.  Obviously it was in the UK so can't comment about service in Europe but happy so far.
