After the 5 day delay at Plymouth with my eye injury we have now safely arrived at Camping Le Letty in Benodet. We had an lovely smooth crossing on the "Amorigue" departing 08.00hrs on 31/07 and arrived safely at Roscoff 15.00hrs. A beautiful drive through the moorlands of the Park Amorique and arrived here at 17.30 hrs.
Le Letty had kept our pitch close to the beach and with a lovely sea view. We have spent the last couple of days setting up the awning, satellite, etc, etc and food shopping we can now settle down to enjoy our hols.
The weather is generally sunny with a few showers, some heavy. Le Letty have kindly said that they will NOT charge us for the 5 nights we missed off the beginning of our booking so that is VERY good news. We have managed to fit in an extra day at the end of the hols too.
We are pitched on Les Mouettes 7, Pitch 4 (Bailey Senator Arizona, blue Bradcot awning and silver Kia Sorento) so if you are at Le Letty come and say hello - we leave on 24/08.
Thanks for all previous good wishes. My eye is healing well, just a bit blurred but I was cleared for driving on 30/07 by the Eye Specialist at Plymouth for and drove here from Roscoff.
I'll only be on line occasionally as Le Letty have now started charging for wi-fi and there are few hotspots in the area.

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
we have just got back from said campsite and thought it was a great site. Benodet is a lovely town with some good restaurants. the site itself was clean and tidy and the staff were really freindly. our pitch was huge and the help we got with our 5am departure was fantastic. full review will follow. enjoy your holls
The weather has been very good during the last week with mainly hot and sunny days. It rained this morning but cleared by the afternoon. Cmp Le Letty is busy but there are still some vacant pitches.
We're really enjoying ourselves swimming in the river and pool, free outdoor concerts in town, a trip to the circus, etc, etc. Vive Le Letty, Vive Le Bretagne, Vive La France!!
