We're off to France camping in 2 weeks with our 2 little'uns in a 14 year old Transporter (not a camper, just a van), so have been looking for breakdown cover for the trip, reasoning that its better safe than sorry. Just bought an amazing deal on the Co op website - £26.50 for full cover on a 10 day trip. I couldn't believe it as the next cheapest quote we've found was £60 odd with Green Flag. It includes onward journey, repatriation etc. I'm so chuffed and thought I'd share it in case anyone else is still looking :-)
I'm hoping its not too good to be true - time will tell I imagine!

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
I've had a look on the coop site for when we head off to France in September with the caravan. Where does it say that the caravan is also covered if your car breaks down?

You are covered if towing a caravan or trailer, it is in the policy documents.
