We decided to stay in Saumur as the weather greatly improved! We've had some good days of sunshine, some quite hot, but today - cold, wet, and dull! The forcast WAS right for today, but we've decided to stay as we move to our next site on Tuesday. Kids are still enjoying themselves in the pool, dog is fine - enjoying the walks and the site is beautiful, it has everything you could wish for - we just dont like rain!!

Weve been baking in the Drome .... rain last night cooled things a bit (nice respite) ... hot again to-day.

Hi Soggy Steve and Kelper,

We are at l'Etang de la Breche. It is a fabulous site, great for kids, not too commercialised, lots to do - but we came to France for sunshine. We could have moved on, but each day apart from two has been sunny(ish) and hot(ish). Looking forward to higher temperatures in the Dordogne.
