We plan on visiting holland and Germany next April in our motorhome but we would like to come back or go via Disneyland Paris. Unfortunately I know very little about this area so is there any easy way of passing between the countries?

Any advice would be great. I have looked at prices for ferries to holland but think we will use the eurotunnel as its more flexible.

It is easy enough to travel between these counties, the only drawback to your itinery being that you will have to travel east toHolland and Germany then double back again for Disneyland. Where are you planning to go in Germany?

From the Eurotunnel you would head east through Belgium on the E40 (free), and so into Holland. Your route from there would depend upon which part of Germany you were heading for, but there are plenty of good roads whatever your choice. Once you have reached your final destination in Germany, head back west. The A4/E50 or the A36 are good fast routes depending upon your starting point, the A4 will take you directly to Disneyland, whereas the A36 will take you down to the A6 and up to Paris that way.

My own personal preference would be to do this as two trips, one to enjoy Holland and Germany, and the other to make the most of the Paris region, but if you really want to combine the two, there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't. Have you considered the Dunkirk crossing? It is cheap and puts you right on the route into Belgium and Holland.

hi Chrissie

We are thinking of driving down the Rhine for the Germany part, is it possible from there to head into luxenburg and across to disney? Do we need a vignette for luxenburg? We have annual passes now for disney so want to get some use out of them. I was hoping there would be a nice small circular route that means we could do a bit of everything rater than just do france.

The E44 comes from Germany through Luxembourg, although it wouldn't take you all that far down the Rhine valley - only roughly down to Mainz. If you want to go further south, you would be better crossing directly from Germany into France.

Motorways in Luxembourg are free, no vignette is needed and fuel in Luxembourg is significantly cheaper than elsewhere, so it is well worth topping up if you come that way.
