Any quotes for fares?  I can't even find a website for them.

Googling My Ferry Link brings up DFDS then all the so-called 'Cheap Ferry' websites!

They are ex Sea France ferries. However it is owned by Eurotunnel, but operated as a co-operative by ex Sea France employees.

Just tried dates for 2 weeks in September. Using exactly the same dates and times, both to and from Calais, "Seafrance" £102, DFDS £61.
Why would you bother?

Just got a quote for 7 days in September for motorhome and dog - £134. That was dearer than P and O, and DFDS.

Obviously I don't know what date or crossing times you were looking at, however I got the following prices;

My ferry link = £112.50
P&O           = £118
DFDS          = £118
Eurotunnel    = £204
