Can someone tell me which ferry crossing i would do to go to Paris, i was thinking that it would be Dover to Calais then about a 4 hour drive when we get of, does anyone no of a near crossing thanks Michelle
Also this will be our first time camping in France so is it easy to find your way round and the campsites thanks again Michelle
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Dover Calais would be the obvious route. It is very easy to find your way around and the internet is excellent for finding campsites. Not so many open in winter but some do.
If you ask specific questions on here there is a wealth of information and help.
Dover Calais is the cheapest HOWEVER, it does sort of depend where in the UK you live.
If you live, like me at the pointy end of the country, (South West) it's more than a full tank of UK juice to get to Dover, and then I've got to get back.
------------- How come when some people visit the fountain of knowledge, they only gargle!!!
Just for completeness, look at Dover-Dunkirk. Lots of offers for a cheap ferry. Dunkirk-Paris is almost same time as Calais but it's a motorway without tolls so it's cheaper.

1/3 of the motorway is toll free, compared to Calais/Paris.
