Gosh, I think that is expensive! We used a vet in La Mothe Achard (convenient for La Garangeoire, Le Pin Parasol and La Guyonniere amongst others in that part of the Vendee)a week ago and he charged us 28 euros for a small dog (standard wire haired dachshund).

Thats expensive, ought to be looking at €20 - €30 maximum.
Is there a price comparison site for French vets?
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Not that I am aware of, however have never been charged more than €30. However as we all know, some will take advantage and try to charge more, my advice is to tell them they are expensive and often they will negotiate, if not find another. Much easier now that you have a 5 day window.
We paid 40 Euros each in Annecy (Doussard) for 2 dogs just under 25kg.
treatment with a thorough examination. On our return through pet control at Eurotunnel there were two people refused re-entry for their dogs due to insufficient data / incorrect forms so please check you passport in filled in correctly with dosage and and date and time of treatment.
------------- It's only an expensive hobby when it's parked on your Drive....use it, love it , live it.
