Sorry, neither have I. Perhaps it's worth a look on Google Earth where you can generally get an idea of how shady the pitches are. In that region, if it's hot, believe me you'll need every amount of shade you can find.
The pitches at the lower end of the site have shade from a sort of cover that goes right over the pitch (if you have a look on the website I think there are pictures of these), but the higher ones (with the better views) have tree shade.
It's a good site with nice pools and a train that runs all the way down to the beach (and more to the point, up again). Best toilet block was the one at the very top of the site.
Edited to say: The website shows that one of the toilet blocks has been redone...don't know what one was toilet block 1 though.

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
French Cala gogo doesn,t have a lot of shade although it is 12 years since i visited so things may have grown. We were in a motorhome in may 2000 and went to stay a couple of nights and stayed a week.most enjoyable, good facilities, nice pool complex and right on the beach. The sea does shelve quite steeply so bear that in mind if you have little non swimmers.
The french Cala Gogo was very busy in August , again about 12 years ago when our youngest was still camping with us!! It has a gate to the beach so you have to wear arm band to be allowed through. Very good pool complex. We stayed with Canvas/ Euro camp ,can't quite remember, and had a mix up for first night so had a caravan, but after that in tent, seem to remember we could choose pitch after mix up and had bottle of wine nightly to compensate !!!
We wouldn't choose it now on our own and to be honest our son and friend were a bit intimidated by disco as very noisy and youngsters older than they were plus a bit of a fracas between Dutch and French youths the night they went. our pitch had shade but sanitaires in our area weren't that clean....it was 12 years ago though !!!
