What a lovley thought to have time to yourself away from the kids on hols. To be honest they always tend to make friends as always mixed well.
Just decided to go to Norfolk coast tomorrow as forecast is good. Going to arrive at 10am near Fakenham then off to beach, night on site and then back for my sons fotball Sunday morning - perfect!

Have you considered l'Oceano d'Or at Jard sur Mer? Lots of English children on site - to be honest I don't know about teenage entertainment because mostly the kids made the playground the hub of their social life. It's in a great location - easy to get to beaches or into town, particularly if you have bikes. Fantastic outdoor adventure centre not far away called Indian Forest and short drive to great surfing beaches. Might be worth considering? We've booked to go again next year - there are some large pitches but you have to request them when you book.
Thank Kat T, yes I am considering them and they are on the list. At soempoint I;ll make a deciosion. Having said that, I have spoken to a couple of sites and they said they weren't taking booking until October.
I was also going to suggest l'oceano d'or, never saw our two last year (10 and 12 at the time), although we drove to beach, everything else on the doorstep.
Thought the entertainment was rubbish, but as said above the brit kids congregated at the 'roundabout' or the park and entertained themselves. They even grouped together and entered the kids talent contest.
Hubby liked that they had footie on big screen most nights

We re-booked at L'Oceano d'Or on the day we were leaving but they said that they wouldn't put the deposit payment through until around November - might be worth dropping them an e-mail if you're interested as they'd probably take the details but then process it later in the year?
Have finally decided on Le Littoral and booked 11 nights next August. It was a bit furtehr South than I wnated to go but only by about an hour. I intend to stop at Dover on the Friday night, eatly crossing Sat and hopefully be on site by around 3pm'ish. Going to do similar ont he way back.
Really been impressed with the advice especially Warbis and Few Cloudy - Thanks.

Hi Lizndel,
One of the teachers at my childrens school went to Le Littoral this year- her children are a similar age to yours. She told me that they enjoyed it so much that they are planning to go back in 2013. Hope you enjoy it too.
Julie.
Thanks Jukie, If she's out there from 17th August for around 10 days tell her to look out for an Abbey 418 Caravan.
Have got 5 days in the Lakes in October as only used the van twice for one night stops since I bought it 8 weeks ago. Son also plays football for an Academy and some of thier games are many hours away and so may use it for that.
