Just wanted to let you guys know about the Aire/overnight stop at Disneyland Paris, as we couldn't find much written about it before we went in August this year.  To park at Disneyland in a motorhome costs 30 Euros for the day, which seems pretty extortionate, but it actually includes an overnight stay - although you do have to leave by 10am the next morning. 

We decided to do this, since it didn't make sense to get back to a campsite past midnight and it worked really well.  There were loads of other motorhomes there, so it felt very safe and despite its proximity to the park, it was very quiet - beware the road-sweepers around midnight though. Wasn't a problem for us, since we were only just coming back at this time, but might be a problem for others.  Also, avoid parking too near to the walkways to the park, as the music goes on late and starts very early.  There is water, drainage and toilet/shower facilities, but NO electric hook-up. All in all though, good value and lovely to just flop into bed after a hard day's theme-parking !

Last August we bought 4 Disneyland "fantasy" annual pass and this gave us a years entry to Disneyland and meant that we could also "camp" for free.

This year it was 159 Euro each for a "fantasy" pass. If you are planning a visit of more than 3 days with camping it may be a cheaper option even if you are not planning to go again. It also meant we didn't feel so rushed to do it all beacause we could stay as long as we wanted!

We used the tickets on 3 holidays and found it good value , especially as you get discounts in shops and restaurants. There are a few days you can't use the passes but these are clearly stated.

It does feel like you are in a "Terminator" film when the road sweeper comes but you soon get used to it.

We also used the disney dog kennels this year ,as it was far too hot to leave the dog in the van (first time we have had a dog with us) . Kennels were nice,cool and clean and cost 10 Euro for the day (incl water and 1 meal). I believe the kennels are free if you buy the top annual pass (199 euro?)

If you do buy an annual pass be careful as there is one you can't use until 2 days after purchasing it.

Could I ask a little bit about the kennels as we have thought about taking our littl dog with us. What is it like and how does it work? do you put them into the kennel yourselves? My dog is nervous of strangers and wouldn't like being picked up by a stranger. We would only leave him for a few hours as our girls are older and can be alone in the parks whilst we took it in turn to spend time with the dog.
