Just planning my winter snowboarding trip and weighing up tunnel & ferry costs and logistics.
We'll be arriving at Dover mid-afternoon the Friday of the Feb half term, not sure which crossing time to go for.. If we go for P&O, is it better to book the earliest we think we might make then hope it's OK to take a later crossing, or book later then if we're early hope they will bring us forward? We'll need a high space if that makes any difference. Usually go with DFDS/Norfolkline but the timings aren't great, and have had problems previously with the tunnel at the same time of year, have heard it is quite common so looking to avoid at least on the way out.
