Does anybody know of any good camping sites on the south coast of France with private sanitation facilities? Weve been to Champs Blancs near Adge on two occasions and would like to try somewhere else if we can find a site with such good private facilities. Many thanks.

Camping Sandaya Le Plein Air des Chênes, we enjoyed a week here 2 years ago. The pitch we had a private toilet with shower, sink and an outside sink for dishes etc..would highly recommend.

What did you think to those private bathrooms at La Nautique please?

We were gravely unimpressed by them - small, gloomy and old fashioned we thought, strangely shaped, and it meant walking into the next hedged pitch to get to ours which was in a block of four. We thought they were much inferior to a modern, purpose built, tiled shower block, and yet many reviewers swy how much they liked them .

Hi,
Have been at Les Sablons, Portiragnes Plage July/August on one of the pitch’s with new, private toilet/shower/washing up sink & fridge freezer. Wonderful!

Fiona

We checked-out La Nautique earlier this week and were not impressed. At 20€ per night on ACSI we expected high quality but pitches were long and narrow with high hedges and the ground on most resembled builders rubble.

There's a dated club house/eaterie which you have to go through to get to the pool. The lake was visible through the perimeter fence but we didn't bother finding the access (if there is one). The private facilities provoked the thought 'brick outhouse' and weren't sufficient to persuade us to stay.
