Well done !!  You'll feel a lot happier towing.

Just one thing to beware of.  Depending on the weight of your tow car you may be restricted to 80 kph on single lane roads and 90 kph on dual carriageways in France.

Have a look at the Caravan Club website for the figures.  Seemingly contrary to logic, the heavier your tow car, the slower you are permitted to travel.

We were only turned away from a site once, not because of our twin axle van but because the pitches were too small. No problem anywhere else, including Nevers. It is quite easy via the ACSI book to choose sites with larger pitches.
