Am thinking of going to this site near to St Jean Des Monts next summer.
There are two reviews on here, but was wondering if anyone else has recent experience of this site?
Have found reviews elsewhere that are not good, but they seem to mostly be from a few years ago. More recent ones say that the site has improved.
It looks like it would suit us because of the size of the pitches , as we have a 7.8m caravan.

One thing that wont change, is its divided by an extremely busy road. Trucks bomb up and down this straight long road from approx 5-6 am. They can be heard throughout the site.

Thanks for the replies.
Had been wondering about the road.
Now dont know what to do as we are used to being in the country where it is quiet. Had been trying to get closer to the cycle track and to the beach.

There are lots of sites in that area that offer good cycle paths, try camping zagarella which is in the southern vendee, lovely site on the edge of a pine forest. However, if you want,sun, sea and cycling why not drive slightly further and stay in the Royan area, you cant beat it.

We need a site that we are able to get round with a van the length of hours.
We are pushing it with the teens to go that far already and that is from Cherbourg so as much as we would really like to go to Royan dont think it will happen soon
Do you know a site near to Royan with good access and big pitches?
