I am touring in France - Spain - Portugal, new to caravaning, (well since August). We are loving it but we have found that some sites are a lot dearer than average for the area. As we are not prebooked and turn up often late in the day, we sometimes have to just grin and bear it.

However we have discovered that if we join ASCI that for 13 or 14 euros we can buy a great book of sites and a discount card guaranteeing maximum price 16 euros per night for a pitch, fantastic saving,particularly as our current Benidorm site is 28 euros.

The lady on the site tried to explain there was a place in Benidorm where we could buy the card but we can;t find it. I have looked on line and we can get it delivered to our address but it's a difficult thing to do when we are travelling "ad hoc".

Any suggestions? Much appreciated.

One way of getting an ACSI Book is at one of their campsites, I have often seen them on sale in receptions. Don't forget the current one runs out at the end of December. If you are staying in one place long enough I am sure that ACSI would be happy to despatch one direct to your campsite.

Here are some addresses where you can purchase the ACSI card in Spain.  This is for the 2013 issue, but you may still be able to get hold of a 2012 book from the same addresses.
