Nigelsp - try this Le Logis near Royan - fab pool, waterslides and cheap! Family of five for last two weeks of August is about £300 all in. http://www.yukadivillages.com/index.php?p_id=32 Stayed there a couple of years ago and our three kids loved it. Go for pitches near the swimming pool as they are the largest. Best of luck! MITTO

We're trying Sequoia Parc this year which is quite close to Royan...reviews are mixed, but then everyone likes different things...as long as toilets are clean and pitches of a reasonable size, thats all I'm really bothered about...child will like the pools.
Sequioa Parc has really good size pitches for the Atlantic coast and from my memory the washblocks were impeccible. Never had any complaints (and I was Area Manager for a Tour Operator on site, so spent a fair bit of time there over a summer).
Thanks
