The scheme here at Bonterra Park seems ideal to me. If you want to stay for a while on ACSI rates on the better pitches then you have to commit yourself to a minimum weeks stay paid in advance. This avoids one nighters blocking pitches for long term customers. There is plenty of room on the green pitches for short term customers but these are well shaded by fir trees and its not possible there to take advantage of the lovely sunshine at the moment!!!! But there were about a dozen pitches occupied today some still with their cars hitched up obviously making an early start tomorrow. Haven't seen any tents on site but then it does get fairly cold at night time. They do have really good prices on their bungalows here however like 21 Euros per night (plus electric) for 2 people providing they stay for a month.
