At a site in Germany last year we were given the ACSI rate for the whole of our stay even though the first 2 of our 5 nights stay were not in the official acceptance period.
I can do better than that...
Last September, we got the ACSI rate for each of the 12 nights, even though we never mentioned ACSI at any stage during our stay!! No card, no membership, no nuffink!
From memory, I think it reduced our rate by something like €3.50 per night.
It was he, the site owner, who mentioned ACSI, as he totted up our bill when leaving, and due to language difficulties I didn't want to confuse matters!
Still no idea whether
A/ He was merely being a buffoon.
B/ The girl that oversaw our reception mistakenly made note of ACSI.
C/ It was deliberate, due to them being extremely polite, charming owners.
D/ Or deliberate because we were returning customers (We were there 12 months previous, and they had our details on their system)
But either way, I worried it would upset national relations if I tried to put him right, so I accepted the situation with grace, and continued to put in a good word for the site on here, as I had done 12 months previous!
For the record, I am English, it was Dutch owners, on a French site... That's a lot of national relations to worry about, so you can see why I let it go, can't you?
Free ACSI? What's not to like!

I have just priced up a site in Germany for 4 nights in May, with our dog, MH, 2 adults, and EHU. The low season price was 153 euros.
With our ACSI card the same site is 17 euros a night, less than half the price.
