We are holding a rally in France next year for around 20 vans, does anyone know of any campsites that are around 4-5 hours from Calais that will accept rallies?
Thanks

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Valjoly could well be what you are looking for, about 3hrs from Calais. It takes bookings for rallies & is over a large area beside a lake. The campsite showers/toilets are good & plenty of ehu's but you are about a mile from the pool/shops/cafes complex but if you have campervans I guess you will have bikes on the back & there are cycle tracks all around the lake area.
The UK version of the website gives not much detail about the actual campsite area but it is large, probably 150pitches with grass surface.
What time of year, and for how long? Can't think anyone will be keen to allocate 20 pitches for much less than 2 weeks in July/August.
Le Brevedent host rallies from CC & C&CC each year at end of May/early June and they are usually 15 to 20 outfits. Site details/reviews are on here. Site will arrange coach trips to WW2 beaches and/or Paris if required, and restaurant receptions/meals, plus trips to cider farm for tastings etc. Get in touch with site by e mail, owners live permanently on site, but at this time of year they may not respond quickly to e mail, and if you want to move things on it may be best to telephone in the beginning. Owners speak good English, ask for Raphael . Le Brevedent is within yout 4/5 hrs from Calais.
Other sites which I guess would accept rallies although may not have as much experience are Le Clos Cacheleux, nice but a bit rural, and Le Puits at St Martin de Besaces which is a smaller site and again English speaking owners.

I would have thought that most campsites would be happy to host a small rally in the low season. My approach would be to decide on the area and then reseach the campsites and then approach those that you like the sound of. If you were all to meet on a campsite near Calais on the first day that would allow you to travel a longer distance the next day, perhaps worth thinking about.
