Hi, looking at heading down to Beziers area for 2 weeks at the end of August and we are looking for a site that will easily take large tents. Ours is over 9m long.4.5m wide. I have been in contact with La Yole who say they have a few pitches of 10m but we would have to park the car away from the tent. Any other ideas for other sites. We would like a site near the beach and with a good size pool.
Thanks

Some of the pitches at Les Sablons, Portiragnes are very large. There is usually someone who speaks english if you ring reception,

I agree there are some large pitches at Les Sablons but unless you can prebook a particular pitch it would still be pot luck on arrival as the site is jammed packed until the second week of September.

Aloha is full already i think and their camping pitches arent the biggest. They operate a daft booking system, 50% of booking alresdy completed the next 50% will no doubt be booked within hrs of bookings opening on the 10th jan i think it is. Fabulous site though.

We have decided to rent out a static privately through an owner at La Carabasse near Beziers .Its costing us £1240 for the fortnight for 5 adults (Me the wife and older kids!!)and judging by the prices of most of the sites in the area i think its pretty good considering we havent got to tow the carvan there and back.

We stayed at Camping Le Neptune with our then Outwell Idaho XL with extension and porch awning thingy. And still had room on the pitch for table and chairs, car, trailer, rotary dryer, kids swingball and room to sunbathe. Pool is reasonable (and extended since we were there) and it's a 20 minute stroll along the river, or three minute drive down to the beach.
