We are trying to choose a site in Spain for this summer. I had set my mind to Aquarius after reading the glowing reports from Mattsurf.
However our kids really want a pool and are not too fussed on days on end on a sandy beach, preferring rock pools and a swimming pool.
Has anyone stayed at Camping International, Callonge or El Raco Del Mar or Kim's Camping? I can't seem to find reviews for them so can't decide which one to pick. L'Amfora also looks good.
How does anyone ever choose where to go!.....

The pool at El Delfin Verde is quite big and the site itself is excellent. There is a good supermarket on site with prices the same as the big supermarkets. Our grandkids love it.
We have booked camping Kim's this year in August as I know from experience that Llafranc is a fabulous place. Unfortunately there are no reviews of it on here but there are plenty on trip advisor which is what made my mind up for me.
Our list of desires is somewhat similar to your and we are really looking forward to it
Thank you Liesldy for your detailed review of Camping Playa Brava. If you're spot this post would you mind answering a couple of questions. Does the site get more than its fair share of mosquitoes due to its proximity to a wetlands area (have had bad experiences in Italy in the past, once bitten twice shy) and is it possible to walk to the nearest village/shops? Many thanks
We went to cala llevado and loved it. Its near tossa de mar and most pitches have a sea view because its hilly which is also its downside your legs will be well toned.
we spotted Camping Playa Brava on a rec last year when we were staying at Camping Cypsela in June and had initillay booked to go in August but changed our minds and went to Castell Montgri, I'Estartit instead, we are going this year from the 24th August and we can't wait, love the area, love the beaches, love the history and love the prices (we're staying in a ready erected tent this year)

Have a look at ballena Alegre also. Lovely huge pitches on the beach with lovely big pools and kids clubs and plenty happening for all ages. Immaculately kept site.
