Why do the CC find it necessary to make an amendment charge. Why can't the member, after making the booking, contact DFDS if they want to change. The bookings made, DFDS have the details, so why can't this happen. £20 for something that is done by checking the DFDS web site is robbery, I can do that. The CC say they will match any offer but that's not true, is it.

Is it possible that it is DFDS which charges the £20 for the amendment fee and the CC are merely passing that charge on?

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

Ina,
I don't think so. DFDS state that bookings made with the code from the show do not carry an ammendment fee. The CC matched that offer so why the charge.
Well, certainly talking to them on the phone doesn't get you anywhere.
I'm going to the NEC on the 19th so I will have a word there with DFDS. I don't want a refund or to add passengers etc. All I want is to change to the ferry before. They aren't losing anything by that.

Love it when a plan works out. After we check out of Center Parcs on Friday, we've booked a Premier Inn near the NEC for the night, and can then do the show all day Saturday. Camping and Accessory Halls are our main interest.

My advice is worth no more than the price paid for it
By the way, they are also offering a cheap 24-hour return to be taken before the !st March, if anyone's interested - must be booked today (17th). Details

Did you not need a code, then, Stuart?

The code automatically comes up on the form because you are booking off the special Caravan Show site.
