Camping Cheques are sold by Alan Rogers in this country - they are the franchise holders - so this is just another way of buying them. You can download them on to the Alan Rogers card and sites will accept them in the same way as they do with paper cheques, or the Silver or Gold Cards.

I can understand the pros of the ACSI card. Ie not paying in advance but on the other hand Camping Cheques, which are pre paid are equally as handy because you don't need to carry cash or incur credit card interest when paying.
I will be using a mix of both this year and that way it will open up further sites too.

Harry
We find we are using the ACSI Card more and more. So many Camping Cheque sites seem to have defected to ACSI I am now wondering whether I will bother in future with them. As regards paying I never incur interest charges as I always pay my bills whilst away using my netbook. Depending on the exchange rate ACSI can be a bit cheaper.

Yes David, I'm finding that there are more ACSI sites. I have a 66 day holiday coming up from May and there are only 20 nights using Camping Cheques, 32 using ACSI and others cash.
Have just got to get round the credit card payments on a monthly basis. I have a Halifax Clarity card and am sure I will be able to set up a monthly SO to pay off the balance.

Do you not take a laptop with you? If so you could pay things as you go along. The Clarity card is good for getting cash out of ATM's as there are no charges except for a small interest charge if you don't pay it off until you get the statement.

Don't take a laptop but may do for the first time. Halifax have an App for my phone so that will help I hope.
