We haven't been before but we are going for 12 nights in August, I struggled to find any reviews about the site but would also be interested to see comments about it.

We went there about 10 years ago and it was a very nice quiet site (except for the day of the wedding !!)

The owners were very pleasant and I remember there was a large swimming pool and play facilities

Its a short walk to the beach which was quite unspoiled.

We went into the chemist to ask directions and this old boy on a bike showed us the way !

try

I have found a review on campsite reviews via google but the link will not work

Try google "les ecureuils/Jard sur Mer"

Just going for another "edit!"

Les Ecureuils means "The Squirrels"

Hi we stayed there June 2003 - in a tent with Canvas Holidays. Nice site, across thr road from the beach and a short walk from the village and port. Better beaches are a short drive away. Nice site, with lots of red squirrels (hence the name Les Ecureuils) - you can see them really closely!

The site does have quite a lot of tour operator units, but still lots of space for tourers, and this space was generally closer to the pool, washblocks etc. Site very well maintained and cleaned. Lovely pools - but unheated (even the indoor one). The only negative we had was being next to a family in a mobile home who liked to stay up outside well past 11, and not being very quiet! But that can happen anywhere, and otherwise it was pretty quiet - though I can't comment on High Season.

Our children were 1 1/4 and 3 1/2 when we went and they had a great time.
