can someone please let me know if there is a brochure or an internet site that I can look at for sites in france.
I have worked and driven all over Europe for many years and I am thinking of taking my wife and kids to show them places I have been but I know nothing about the sites available for touring caravans.
many thanks
bob
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
You can also look at Eurocamp Independent, Alan Rogers, Caravan and Camping Club's European touring section called Carefree.
As suggested before, go onto the campsite search on here and click on France, there are loads of sites, that have been reviewed and have links to their websites.

Sambob. I think you will be spoiled for choice, I understand there are over 10,000 sites in all areas of France. Two good starting points could be, www.campingo.com and www.campingfrance.com. Have fun.
If you are a caravan club member they have 2 euro sites directories. The French one is excellent but if off season get an ACSI card or use Camping Cheques as above.
Its better to take a guide book you can hold in your hand. For France the Michelin guide does the job. The 2013 edition can be bought from UK bookshops or mail order.
We like the Alan Rogers guides as they have written detail rather than just symbols if you want a book. But as previous posters have suggested this site is a very good place to start.
