Yes, click on the figure 3 for my gallery images and look at the bottom photo. That was taken in early July 2011. Not busy - and i doubt if it ever gets busy as there's no swimming pool.
We went again in mid June 2012 but they hadn't got round to opening yet - all very casual and laid back, so we went along the road to Camping La Palombiere, which is just as nice. Both are open and spacious - you aren't cooped into a hedged square. Both are "our type" of camping - and we love the area very much.
Hi Berriow, thanks for replying, the site I am looking at has several pools it has a Lagoon, a pool with slides and a standard 'swim' pool, I wonder if these have been added since your visit or not?!?
I will have a look at Camping La Palombiere...thanks
The lagoon at atlantique parc is right on the main road - we looked at it for this year and decided against it for that reason. The road its on is the main stretch into La Palmyre and cant get quite busy so I was concerned about the noise. We have stayed at L'oree du bois a couple of times and can highly recommend it..
We are going to Ile Oleron this year staying at Camping signol, which looks fab.
