No worries buddy, really appreciate your first hand experience.
The safe cycling is a big reason why we looked at this site, also the pool complex for the kiddies..

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
We didn't have problems with rodents at all whilst stopping there a few ants maybe! We had a really enjoyable stay and were toying with the idea of going back. But I think it's always good to experience new things so we' re going to try somewhere else this year. We booked with the campsite direct and took our own equipment but did find the reps from canvas and eurocamp more than helpful. We arrived on a Sunday when the shops are shut only for me to remember that our aerobeds were still in the airing cupboard at home! Not the most relaxing start to the holiday! Eurocamp lent us camp beds and mattresses for our full stay. I thought the location of the pre erected tents were all fine apart from the Safari tents at the back of the site which were private but too shady in my opinion. In terms of cycling the road to the chateau has a 40ish limit on it and whilst lots of cyclist used it I would not have felt comfortable letting my kids on it, around the chateau itself is great. There are other cycle paths not far from the site.
Thanks again easylu. Ah right I assumed reading from the reviews than it was a private estate road to the chateau, so safe for the kids, obviously not that way at all??
I've been looking at the Loire cycle network, but it will be a bit too much for the kids as they are only small, we could take the car and find decent cycles, so I will also look into this..
Cheers
