Hi. Has anyone heard about or better still used this company?
They have mobile homes in france, spain and italy, and from what i can gather they've been around for a while. I often come across the name in reviews on tripnadvisor ect..
.. Got a brochure through yesterday, and it has some of the sites that we are thinking of booking for next may. It's very competitively priced.
Prices go on their website in June for next year. You can pay a deposit, but have free cancelation before January 2014.
The mobiles looks great, and the dummy quote i got from them was very good.
Any comments, imput, or knowledge of this company would be very welcome..
Thanks

Hi - we have used Venue Holidays but not since 2004. The caravans were good and so was the rep on the site. We had no problems at all and prices were very competitive before the summer school holidays. We haven't used them again because we now go in the school holidays as we don't take the boys out of school now.
I would definately recommend them.

Hello, we've (older couple) had three previous holidays in Venue Mobile Homes - September 2007 Camping Brasilia, Canet Plage; September 2008 Le Vieux Port, Messanges and September 2009 Les Pins Parasol in Frejus.
The quality of the MH's was absolutely fine (esp Brasilia) as was the service received both from HQ and the couriers - not that we are especially demanding as we know the ropes having been on many of these kinds of holidays before.
When we make our plans we have no particular preference as to which company we choose, just who gives the best value for the time of year and area we've picked. We would have no hesitation about using Venue again whatsoever, in fact we are booked with them again for two weeks at Brasilia in early June.
Recommend viewing their website for any late booking special offers.
I've seen a few of their mobiles on sites during the last few years, the vans looked fine from the outside. We've booked one of their pre-erected tents this year in North Spain.

Thanks all for your input. It's been really useful to get some positive feedback, and to know some of you have used/ are using this company.
We too use any operator which is best value and fits the bill at the time.
Only issue i have with them is having to submit each holiday date for an individual quote, and not be able to browse dates and parks at my leisure, like all the other operators.
still, prices look to be very competitive so will be keeping them in mind for next year.
Yes, that was annoying, the response via email was quick enough but it wasnt the same as being able to play around with dates and get immediate quotes. It took me ages to get around to booking the holiday because of waiting to phone them. They need to invest in their website!
We've stayed in their mobiles quite a few times at Brasilia and Playa Brava. I think they are excellent value although equipment wise they are quite basic. We found their reps to be a bit hit or miss. The first time we went to Playa Brava the reps had taken the day off and we had to book a hotel for the first night! The following year the reps did a runner on day 2 of our holiday (think they got better offer from another campsite). But other times they have been great. A rather strange thing about them is they only provide one sun lounger (well they did 2 years ago) - fortunately my OH is quite happy sitting in the shade but for some I can see it causing a few arguments!
