Just wondering if anyone here on the boards has visited this campsite we are booked to the the TT in late July? I was also wondering whether anyone has ever been to Le Puy de Fou theme park?

Hi kevimarr- no not visited but there are 11 reviews on here if you do a search, I put in a town search for Brissac Quince and it comes up!! Are thinking of trying this area ourselves so will take a peak at their website too in a minute- just got to grab a coffee then I can relax & daydream for 10 mins
OOOOO- looks like a possibility! I have google earthed it too, not a bad distance into Brissac Quince( which looks lovely-impressive Chateau ) and the parc de loisirs next door is a plus for kiddies!
Well spotted
Not been to the site but went to Puy du Fou last summer, absolutely fantastic, like nothing I,be ever seen before. Well worth going and worth investing in translator headphones (1between 2).

Thanks all for the information, will definitely pay Le Puy de Fou a visit as my son loves this sort of thing. Seems like a nice site - I previously stayed at a site in the village of Mesland before, between amboise and blois. That was very nice

We went for several years on the run when the children came on holiday with us and then had a few days there last year on our own out of season, for old times sake! We loved it there and have also visited the Puy du Fou several times, which we think is an amazing day out. We weren't overly impressed by the night show though, unlike a lot of people.

Hi Kevimar,
We spent 3 nights here 2 years ago, 1st week in july and not too busy. Kids were 11 & 12 and we all enjoyed it. Have 2 pools one covered and one open, free passes can be obtained from reception for the leisure park next door, kids loved that while we lazed around at watched. They produce a lovely rose wine (to our taste buds anyway) which can be purchased at a fair price at reception. Also have a fishing pond if its your thing. We enjoyed it and would recommend, hope you enjoy!
