Chateau du Gandspette, 15 miles from Dunkerque and the coast. Easy access to Belgium also and Plopsaland theme park, if you're into that kind of thing.
Take a look at this one it is a fantastic site, and we go every year for a long week-end. Our 8 and 5 year olds love it. Pool is great, and some lovely places nearby. They will love the beach too.
We stayed at a Yelloh site at St Aubin sur Mer called ' Le Cote de Nacre' at Easter. Had good pool complex, kids club, bar/restaurant and takeaway, shop, free bouncy castles , play area, sports area - only Keycamp and Thomson Al Fresco tour operators. Near to beach and a promenade with restaurants etc. We stayed in a static but the touring area looked good ( we plan on going back in the future with our TT)
We crossed to Calais and easily managed the drive in a day - it is very close to Caen. Plenty of history close by including Bayeaux and the D Day beaches. Easy shopping too.
