We are due rain on Thursday in Central Brittany, and it may warm up a bit. It has been nice today warm and sunny, but rain forecast for the next hour, black moving in clouds. It has been awful for weeks, no thunder storms or really heavy rain but overcast and chilly.    The local pool has opened but only having the heat cranked up as made it usable. We were thinking of driving down to Carcassonne but we may give it a miss. Doesn't look as if we will be taking the caravan out this year. Perhaps September will look better.

I hope everyone who has booked holidays will find the weather improves soon.

It's been lovely today near Sarlat sunny and warm 8-12 then clouds and sunny and warm from 5 until now :)

Hi. We are in a campsite near Arles the weather has been very hot for the last 8days. we have had very strong winds for the last two days and they tell us it is going to last till sunday 30th June.
There are a lot of people moving back up from the coast. We where going down to Sete but have been advised to stay put. (That is because we have a caravan not a motor home)
We are going next to Millau if the weather settles.

Great to hear that the weather has improved slightly, we are off early hrs sun driving down to plymouth staying at cadeside for one night then driving to the ferry port.Its been a long time coming this Holiday so just hope forsome sun we are staying inland on our first site. Not booked the second one as yet anyone give us advise how best to do it once we are in France we are taking our laptop or tablet and Mobile phone for emergencies only.

26th June here in Vallon Pont D'arc the Ardeche its currently 74 degrees and cloudless and due to rise over the coming few days to 82 degrees over the weekend.


I've even got me bald bits burned!!
