We travelled with euro tunnel on Saturday 3rd August we were booked onto the 11.20am train, we arrived at euro tunnel at 9am and we were allowed into the terminal and offered the train before ours which we accepted. Wht we found interesting we where one of the last to be loaded onto the train and there where still quite a few cars / caravans behind us whom I am assuming would not have got on as we where in the last carriage.
We had also received an email to say we where travelling on one of their busiest days.
On the return leg Tuesday just gone we arrived at Calais at 10.00am and we were due to travel on the 11.50 train and we were offered the 10.50 train which we gladly accepted.
Both of these where free.

Last year we were not offered my earlier trains luck of the draw I guess.

WE went through on Sunday evening 18/8. Quickest crossing ever, I think we only stopped to at the checkin machine :-)

Booked on the 1920, we arrived at about 1820. Through the check in. WE offered the 1906, drove round to the boarding lanes, and were waved on and put on what turned out to be the 1835, as it left about 5-10 minutes after we were on. I think we must have been one of the last few vehicles on.

Not mjuch more than na hour after arriving at the chunnel we were checked in to our Hotel B&B room in Boulogne. Love the Chunnel :-)
