Villefranche de Rouergue on market day! It's a bit further than you want, but the town is interesting, and the market is once of the best we've seen in that area.
If you haven't already done it, a trip up the Gorges du Tarn as far as Sainte Enemie.
The cheese caves at Roquefort -- interesting and definitely worth a visit if you like blue cheese.
Any of the Knights Templar villages - there are many in the area, some more touristy than others.
If you have children they may like Micropolis - my niece and nephew did.
Again, if you have children, Les Loups de Gavaudan (wolves 'in the wild') - again a bit further than you want.
Almost anywhere, and everywhere else!

We loved it. Our favourite site in France so far.
It's quite "French" in a very good way. There's a good mix of nationalities; French (about 70%), then Dutch and Brits in equal numbers.
Pitches are large and we had a fantastic view of the lake which you can swim in or take your own boat on.
Organised entertainment with things like a zip line for the kids, climbing wall, organised bike rides and walks in the day. Quizzes, a band, and one night a disco, usually finished about 10.30 or 11pm.
It was a bit of a way to get anywhere but the site was so good that we didn't feel like we had to go elsewhere. We did go to Millau, and wanted to do the velo-rail but unfortunately they were fully booked.
The pools are ok, with a couple of reasonable slides, but the main swimming pool is a little on the small side, however not a problem if you don't mind swimming in the lake.
It was a very well organised site and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was quiet at night.
I'm going to do a review soon, but might not be for a couple of weeks. Got loads to catch up with after four weeks away!
