Camping de Gayeulles, in Rennes, is one that friends recommend.  It's not an expensive site, but it does take Camping Cheques from the 26th August.

Have used Gayeulles many times. Good clean facilities and decent pitches. The park is good and has a pool which opens onto a lawn (used to to be cheap entry for campers, not sure now). Don't be put off by the entry road, it is quite narrow but it is one way. Some reports mention travellers on site, never been a problem when we have stayed though there are some market traders at times.

Or Bain de Bretagne, Guemene Penfao, Blain, or Nort sur Erdre if you are heading south towards Nantes. We've used them all. They're fine.
