We have booked our ferry crossing to arrive in Calais at about 3am local time. Can anybody advise on where we can safely rest after we get off ferry. Thanks
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Why on earth do you book a ferry that lands at stupid oclock especially with a caravan.
However the only place that I know of is the motorhome parking area at Cite Europe. We stayed there a few weeks ago with the camper and there was at least 20 motorhomes there for the night. Its situated next to the coach park and you should be okay there.
Thanks for that Mike. We will go there. OH a bit tight and found a good deal on ferry crossing lol

We also stayed with our caravan at cite Europe a few weeks ago. We found it hard to find the motorhome car park in the dark so it's best to use the coordinates in the satnav, we found them on google. With the caravan you need to park across the parking spaces so you are facing carrefore then you are not blocking any of the access around the car park. We parked the other way and was told by security to move it. It feels quite safe and lots of ther Brits were there overnight.
Thanks for that Kate75. Cite Europe it is then but we will also check out the car park in ferry terminal as we only want an hour or so sleep in the car as we are taking our folding caravan now
