Re the E104 - yes that's the route I mean, and it joins back into the A10 to continue your journey to Orleans and the Dordogne.

Have you noticed how in the thumbnail view it looks like a Monet Waterlillies painting!

Yes, a lot of the cheap chains seem to only have triple rooms. For furture reference, the B & B Hotel chains does them tho. Or as Val says, use a booking website to search for family rooms. Tho there tend to be not so many hotels that can compete on price with the chains for family rooms.
