Hi,
We are off tomorrow for a week in Normandy staying at the Municipal campsite in Bayeux. It says it has free wifi all over the site.
Does any one know good it is? Is it worth me taking my tablet?
Thanks

shed63,
We are off to Bayeux in 3 weeks time, not been there before. One would think that the world was ending when we told our teenage sons that Wifi may not be available 24/7.
Please leave a review for the site, Many thanks
Mickeynolegs,
Just to let you know that the wifi here at Bayeux is accessible in the communal/games room by reception only. However the signal seems good and strong .
The site seems very nice so far, but we arrived quite late last so still need to explore.
Mike,
As the reviews all say this is lovely site. Quiet with lots of trees for shade. I think the pitch sizes are adequate but not overlarge...I guess it depends on your unit and what you are used to. The toilets and showers are fine, the usual french style.
There is a nice Australian (I think) girl on reception who is very helpful. I was able to email in advance with a query in English and got a response in English.
It is worth noting that if you use the adjacent municipal pool (free to campers) bathing caps are compulsory, but you can buy them from a vending machine.
Bayeux is a beautiful town and there is lots to see an do in the area...I'm just sad we have to go home soon!
I hope you and your teens have a lovely holiday like we have. I would certainly be happy to come back to this site.
Michele
