We are a family of four, two adults, two children aged six & two. Looking for our first camping trip abroad next year & fancied the Reims area in France.
I was just hoping someone will see this post & offer any advice/good sites that they know about/used previously that may be of interest to us.
Looking for any help, no matter how small.
Many thanks

I once stayed in a campsite in a beautiful little town called Rocroi. If you google it you will find lots of images.
It was a long time ago so so it may have changed. But the campsite was in a lovely location on the banks of a lake, and well located to do some exploring in the region.
Good luck planning the trip!

staying at the kawan village site near there, Lac d'orient.
which is about an hour and a half from reims. off in a few weeks so ill let you now, it does look a lovely picturesque town as does troyes, and st dizier.
there is a adventure park nearby that we may well treat our 5 year old too, also may brave a trip to the borders of germany.
Lac d'Orient also takes Camping Cheques from 24th August, so if you went for the week before, and that week, you could save 12 euros per night in site fees - over seven days not a bad saving!
If you paid the normal price, a pitch for two adults would be between 25 and 34 euros per night including electricity. With Camping Cheques you'll only pay 16 euros per night. See www.campingcheque.co.uk for details.
