Le Capitole restaurant in Juan les Pins- fab old style restaurant, with a great Monsieur, authentic décor ( not contrived at all!) yummy food- 15 euro 3 course menu ( well it was when I was there in Feb!)and a stones throw from the beach. Sorry cant be a help on campsite as I was there in hostel accomadation on a French course. I also loved the Picasso museum and had a great day trip to Cannes, only 3 or 4 euros to get you there and back on the bus.In Antibes itself wander into the old town area, very pretty...also Le Chrono restaurant in there was lovely not too pricey though more modern in décor etc than my original recommendation. I loved Antibes..and that was in a cold & wet Februaury.. I bet its stunning in the sunshine. Let me know if the campsites are worth driving that far for.
I've never been to Les Frenes - always stopped at Camping du Pylone.
Marineland is well worth a visit, especially if you've got kids. If you watch the killer whale shows, make sure to take a hat and sunblock - there is no shade.
Also, there is a train station, near the seafront at Biot, where the local train runs along the Cote D'Azur between Ventimiglia (aka Ventimille) in Italy and, I believe Cannes - easiest way to visit Nice, Monte Carlo, Juan les Pins etc.
There are some poor reviews in Zoover, from 2012 stating that the site has lost stars, and gone downhill since 2010, and even reviews from 2010 and before give it some dire scores - particularly with regard to the sanitary facilities, which are described as old, dirty, and apparently you have to pay two euros per person extra every time you use the small pool
