I'm travelling to France soon from Calais to Bayeux, although we've done the journey loads of times this is our first time towing a caravan.
Can anyone please recommend a good Aire to stop at with a caravan ?

Well the ones on the "pay for" stretches of autoroute usually have cleaner toilets, less traffic and easier parking than those on the free stretches of motorway. Baie de Somme services between junctions 23 and 24 of A16 has its own fan club - they'll be along to talk to you soon. But Bolleville services between J.7 and 8 of A 29 is another big one, and then there are the smaller aires without fuel or cafes. They're not a bit like those on the dear old M5 here in UK. Hope you have a great time.

The aires are generally marked on good French road maps, I use AA. Work out where you want to stop and look for an Aire you can then use Google Earth to find it and take a closer look. I've found that some of the Aires along this route can be quite small and if full of lorries you may have to drive on to the next one. Try not to stop around lunchtime.
