Just come back from France today, and used my tag as instructed, placed behind rear view mirror. Although had to drive close to barriers on a couple of occasions, it never failed to work.

Yes, ours didn't work the first time -but I was unsure where to actually fix it.

After that it was a breeze - but you do have to drive right under the camera/detector.

Thanks for the replies about when to expect the bill. Anytime now I guess.
