Does anyone know when the Tunnel and P&O web sites get updated with 2014 April+ times? I keep wanting to plan for 2014 and constantly have to check to see if any dates yet but no...

A bit of a bug bear of mine but why do the web site managers allow users to select dates for which they have no actual operations?

As an IT person myself its not difficult to flag if there are services available for a particualr date and simply not make those dates available for selection.

ggrrrrrr!! Come on web managers get a grip...

It's usually a 250 days rolling availability on the Eurotunnel website.

Alan, surely the tunnel trains and the P&O ferries will be every half hour or so as usual. Do you need timings more exact than that for your planning?

My understanding that the Tunnel works on a rolling basis with their timetables of about 9 months in advance.

Hi,
I'm mega frustrated too!!
I'm trying to organise a trip to Normandy for 30 Sea Cadets in April and want to book the Portsmouth-Le Havre route with LD.
Frustratingly their parent company DFDS have dates available for April for Dover-Calais/Dunkirik.
I just want to get the mini buses booked so that we can make plans!!!

Its not so much the actual times (I suspect they won't vary much) as the fact that you can't plan price wise. They won't show any details just says "Not available" or some similarly informative error message...

Perhaps its something to do with oil prices? But I'm sure they (ferry co's), like airlines, buy bulk fuel and have reserves of many months.

Alternatively, if fuel prices go up then add a supplement (most airlines do, and even mail deliveies were subject to that last year!!) So it can't be that.

I suspect its lack of admin/organisation. Or they just "can't be a***d"...

Alan. Just wait patiently for a little while longer, their ferry prices and offers will probably be announced at the impending Caravan Show. That company will still be the cheapest on the Dover run, and even if the price is ten per cent more than this year it won't stop you going, will it.

Just tried P&O again today and

FINALLY! it has allowed for may-June 2014 (gone up a bit already. Same times 2013 were £20 cheaper) So thats at least a 15% increase

Can make plans now!
