We stopped feeding our German Shepherd "dog food" a year ago. She gets meat (usually a microwaved chicken portion or a decent quarter pound beefburger) brown or white rice or pasta, veggies microwaved with a little water and some liquid chicken stock, sometimes she gets a beaten egg in it and occasionally a bit of grated cheese... She gets cod liver oil capsule once a day as a "sweetie!" (which she loves) and to be honest she has never looked better! Oh occasionally she will have 1 cesar with a chopped up apple and a bit of cheese No worries about taking dog food as its what we eat as well just shopping for 3 Providing yours isn't allergic to any of those it is probably a much better diet and you know exactly what they are getting.. Just a thought
