We are in the planning stages for our first ever camp abroad this summer, we are planning on using the Euro Tunnel through to Calais, there will be 2 adults, 3 girls (5 - 8) and a dog!!
Can anyone recommend any family & dog friendly sites anything up to say 3 hours drive from the tunnel? would be nice to have a swimming pool and bar/ facilities on site if possible??
We are thinking a week to 10 nights stay?
Your suggestions will be greatly received :)

For three children the age yours are I'd suggest you turn left instead of right at Calais and make for Camping de Paal in the southern part of Holland. It would be perfect for the children, but I confess I've no idea about the dog.
The website and on line reviews will tell you all about it, and the ViaMichelin website says just a few minutes over your three hour drive from Calais - and no tolls to pay on the motorway.
Depends on how much you want to spend, but for a first trip abroad Château du Gandspette at Éperlecques on the way to Saint-Omer is definitely worth considering.
A lot of people just use it as an overnight stop but there is plenty to see and do in the area.
The site itself has everything you want.
Are you going this summer, or Summer14? We had a great time at Le Champ Neuf near Quend/Rue in Picardy. Great indoor pool, dog friendly, lots of opportunity for cycling and walking. ACSI card accepted for last week in August. Nice bar and takeaway food, free wifi.

Chateau du Gandspette, lovely friendly site, we visited for a week in early July, pools area very nice, big play area and sports area too. Wifi at the bar area, didn't use restaurant but it always seemed busy. Nice area to visit.
Alrady planning to return for a week next year on way down to Saumur in Loire valley.
