Hi, we are hoping to go to Villasol in Benidorm at Christmas.
We see on their website that you can have access to TV via a cable.
Would we need to take our freesat box so that we can watch the programmes that we want to watch?
Has anyone taken a tv there?
Hope you can help
Thanks
Jan & Steve

Hi,

You could take your freesat box there but it depends which satellite the campsite 'LNB' (That's the bit at the end of the Satellite Arm) is lined up on as to what and if you can get a signal!

If you can contact the campsite via email and ask them what satellite they use for their TV then you could see if you can re-program your freesat box to pick this one up, then you might be in with a chance.

Then again, their cable might be an Analogue signal from a specific ground transmitter which will be no good for your TV or freesat box.

We stayed at Almafra in Benidorm last year. Villasol probably has the same set up? We got 5 English programmes. Co-ax cable direct to TV. BBC 1. ITV1. News 24 channel 5 and something else.
Fred.
