I'm looking at spending about 10 days or so here on August next year with our boys aged 15, 11, 9 and 6 and was just after personal feedback etc with regards to access with large caravan, pitch sizes, location on site, surrounding area etc. the reviews of both are good and looking at some preparation I'd done a few wks back I'd favoured Les 2 Fontaines for some reason.

What are your experiences?

We have just booked for next year and our pitch is 14m x 8m. Du Letty fab altho its our first time here. We took a peek a few years ago. Benodet is beautiful. We were going down South but to be honest I didn't fancy losing days travelling.

I'm seriously looking at Du letty, but finding it quite expensive, as have to pay for our toddler who will be 2 next summer and also am I right in thinking that you have to pay 0.60 euros every time you have a shower?
But maybe it's worth the extra as everything you need is on site, so would save money on days out?

I think the prices at du Letty are 'quite' expensive too - €43 euros for a pitch and two adults, and €10 for each child over the age of 7, and €7 for each under 7.  It does state, though, that showers are 'gratuit' but I think that's just one a day with a token.

I don't mind it being a little more expensive if the holiday is fairly contained to the camp area. I found a nice camp site in Cornwall this year and although I really liked the site, we spent more money going out for the day, as the weather wasn't really good enough for the beach...so if you can factor that in, then perhaps it's worth paying a bit more and then staying around the camp site???
I really like the look of La Plage, but not sure if there would be enough there for my 9 year old (10 next summer)and also if the weather is inclement - but it looks so much more peaceful....I don't fancy being kept awake until late if Du Letty is busier at night.
I have also got notes in my virtual brichure for Yelloh Village La Plage at Penmarsh, which could be cheaper than Letty, but there aren't many reviews - but you can book through CC.

I worked out Du letty at about £51 per night with pitch, us, 10 and 2 year old - plus extra for the shower tokens, but if they are now free according to Joreed, then all the better. It does say on the website about the showers being free, but still mentions tokens, so would be interested to find out what they are now doing - do you perhaps get limited tokens?

We did Du Letty this August and have just rebooked the same pitches for next August, the prices have gone up but with the pool and the beach we did not find any need to look for days out, Benodet or Concarneau were more than enough with everything available on site.
